Dr. David Kreisberg
Dr. Kreisberg joins our team as a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in extremities, specifically hands. Dr. Kreisberg received his B.A. and attended graduate school at the University of Cincinnati, before finishing his degree at California State University. He attended medical school at Universidad Autonoma De Guadelajara in Mexico and at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Kreisberg started his residency in general surgery at West Pennsylvania Hospital, and continued on to residencies in orthopedic surgery in Maryland’s Union Memorial Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is certified with the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Kreisberg has won the Orthopedic Education Achievement Award from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery for his lectures on hand surgery.
Michael J. Rubeis, M.D.
Dr. Rubeis attained both his undergraduate and his doctorate from Ohio State University. He was awarded a research fellowship with the National Institute of Health in Maryland before returning to Ohio State to pursue a fellowship in exercise physiology, and receiving his masters degree. Dr. Rubeis interned at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Ohio, before beginning his residency at University of Florida’s College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida, studying anesthesiology. He has over 10 years of pain management training and is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Luis C. Vera, DC, FIACN, FIBE
Dr. Vera received his undergraduate from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He proceeded to obtain his degree in chiropractics from New York Chiropractic College. He is a diplomate, fellow, and board certified chiropractic neurologist and electromyographer. Dr. Vera has earned fellowships through the International Academy of Clinical Neurology and the International board of Electrodiagnosis, and went on to be a chairman of the latter organization. He has held teaching positions as part of the adjunct clinical faculty of Northwestern Health Sciences University, and as an assistant professor of medical education, serving as volunteer faculty at University of Central Florida’s College of Medicine.
Phil Heller, DC
Dr. Heller received his undergraduate at Western Illinois University, and went on to study at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where he attained his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He has amounted countless hours in continuing chiropractic practice and study, having worked with Premier Orthopedics for nearly 20 years. He is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association. Dr. Heller is well versed in handling a diverse variety of conditions,and offers a continuum of holistic treatments aimed in increasing his patient’s quality of life.
